The new Vice-Deans of our faculty were appointed. They are appointed until the end of February 2026. Jiří Šrubař from the Department of Load-bearing Structures became the Vice-Dean for Education and the Statutory Deputy Dean, Petr Vorlík from the Department of Theory and History of Architecture became the Vice-Dean for Science, Research and Art, Kateřina Rottová from the Department of Architectural Design II is the Vice-Dean for Public Relations, Irena Fialová from the Department of Urban Design is the Vice-dean for International Relations and Irena Šestáková from the Department of Building Theory is the Vice-Dean for Development and Construction. The new management will present its programme of strategic and development goals in 100 days, i.e. during May.

Irena Fialová is an architect and lecturer and Vice-Dean at the Faculty of Architecture (since 2014). She is a member of the Scientific Council of the Technical University of Liberec, the Czech curator of the November Talks lecture series and the exhibition of the international competition Young Talent Architecture Award. In the academic year 2020/21 she participated in the preparation of the EAAE Annual Conference and General Assembly hosted by the Faculty of Architecture of the CTU.

Kateřina Rottová Kateřina Rottová is an architect and teacher who has long been working on the topic of architectural communication. She has worked as PR manager of the CTU Solar Decathlon team (2011–2013), public relations officer at the FA CTU (2013–2018) and as PR of the Deparment of Architectural Design II (since 2018). She was part of the team that prepared the new website of the faculty. From 2021 to March 2022 she was a member of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Architecture of CTU.

Irena Šestáková Irena Šestáková is a graduate of the FA CTU, since 1993 a member of the Czech Chamber of Architects. From 1998 to 2001 she was a member of the AS of the FA CTU, 2003 to 2005 a member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Biomedical Engineering of CTU, 2006 to 2010 Vice-Dean for Development and Construction of the FA CTU, 2007 to 2009 a member of the CTU Grant Committee. From 2012 to 2022 she was Vice-Dean for Education at the FA CTU. In 2014 she was appointed Professor of Architecture.

Jiří Šrubař has been involved in educational matters for a long time, since 2017 he has represented the faculty in the Academic Senate of CTU, where he was part of the Board of the AS and chairman of the Commission for Educational Affairs. He also served in the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Architecture, where he held the position of Vice-Chairman of the AS, Chairman of the Economic Committee and member of the Legislative Committee.

Petr Vorlík is an architect and teacher, mainly engaged in teaching and scientific research. He works at the Department of Theory and History of Architecture (since 1999), at the Research Centre for Industrial Heritage (2002-2020), in a number of committees (National Heritage Institute, Prague 3, Ještěd 73, etc.) and organizations (Docomomo Czech, CNK ICOMOS). He has authored or co-authored monographs, chapters in professional books, articles in professional journals, co-organized conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and actively participates in public debate.
