Due to the high qualification and specialization, the management of the Czech Technical University in Prague decided to submit two projects for two different required areas to the MIT qualification call. The first of these is the area of cyber security, which CTU in cooperation with Masaryk University (MUNI) and Brno University of Technology (BUT) will further develop, and a strong basis was created on the CYBERSECURITY INNOVATION HUB platform for fulfilling both EDIH goals and strengthening international cooperation.
The second EDIH CTU specializes in the use of artificial intelligence (AI). In this area, the best workplaces at CTU (FEL, FIT, CIIRC) have joined forces and created a strong team that is ready to provide its services together with other partners to both small and medium-sized enterprises and companies engaged in AI development. Another important pillar is the offer of cooperation for the public sphere, which can use artificial intelligence to streamline its operation in many areas.
"By participating in two of the six projects supported, the CTU in Prague demonstrates the excellence of its teams and its readiness to participate in the digital transformation of society. "The EDIH project is important mainly due to its application in practice. With its help, artificial intelligence will reach small and medium-sized companies and public administration, where it will help with labor productivity and the growth of its added value. The already existing ecosystem around the National Center for Industry 4.0 will be important for the implementation of projects and solutions, “says its director, Jaroslav Lískovec.
