The International Student Formula Formula Czech Republic race took place at the polygon near the Autodrome in Most from 13 to 17 August. The CTU CarTech team from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering won first place in the category of combustion formulas. The car won 1st place in the main race qualification and confirmed this dominance by finishing 1st in the main race. The eForce Formula FEE Prague Formula Selective Drive from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering got 2nd place in the Formula Student Electric category. In all the dynamic disciplines, the team managed to reach the top 3 best ranks. In Skidpad, AutoX and Endurance, the team won 2nd place. Pleasant addition to this wave of success is the fact that the eForce formula was the best accelerating car on the track with time of 3.59 seconds.

The FSE.08 team of eForce FEE Prague Formula team was struggling with technical problems during the first races of this season in Italy, which could be tuned out in a very short time and the team could show at Formula Student Czech Republic that its newest car has the potential to reach the highest ranks.

The FS.11 vehicle of the CTU CarTech team has undergone major structural changes this year, which has been shown to have had a positive effect on its performance. Before the first races, the team underwent rigorous testing of chassis, aerodynamics and other components. Obtained data were used by CTU students for car tuning and calculation calculations.

Together, both CTU CarTech and eForce FEE Prague Formula will immediately head to the Spanish circuit in Barcelona, where they will continue with their efforts.
