Uniqway, a pan-European, unique carsharing platform for students, enters the day-to-day successful test phase. From now on, the platform is available to students and educators of the Czech Technical University, the University of Economics and the Czech University of Life Sciences. The conditions for this service to work were created by ŠKODA AUTO ČR and ŠKODA AUTO DigiLab. The CTU students have devised the whole technical concept and design of the service, the students of the UE are in charge of the marketing strategy of the project and manage the social networks and the CULS is responsible for its operation.
The basic car rental rate consists of a combination of used time and mileage: 29 CZK per hour and 4.90 per kilometer. Uniqway, however, favors longer leases, for example for long journeys or trips. The service works with the international ISIC card available to every student. After free registration, cars can be searched and booked in an app.
