From 26 September to 1 October, the World Championships in Water Slalom took place in the French city of Pau, which was also attended by Ing. Vít Přiddiš, Ph.D. of Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering.
He triumphed in the patrol race together with Jiří Prskavec and Ondrej Tunka as he won the gold medal. He became the vicemaster of the world in the individual race, just two hundredths of a second behind his representative colleague, Ondrej Tunka.
