On June 23, 86 new professors recieved their titles in the big hall at Carolinum of Charles University. Seven professors from the Czech Technical University in Prague were among them.

Faculty of Architecture got three professors. Petr Hájek, Michal Kohout and Roman Koucký received titles in the field of architecture. At the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the new professor in the field of Theory of Building Structures and Materia is Martin Jiránek and in the field of Water Management and Water Structures, Jaroslav Pollert. Václav Papež from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering became the new professor in the field of Materials and Technologies for Electrical Engineering. The Faculty of Transportation Technology has  Ondřej Přibyl as the new professor in the field of Engineering Informatics in Transportation and Communications.
