Last November weekend, the CTU athletic representation participated in the 2nd annual World University Games, held in Rome. Our university was represented by a total of 72 students in nine sport teams in a strong competition from 3 continents, 28 countries, 57 universities represented by 1800 athletes
Two winning teams of women's basketball and badminton contributed mostly to the remarkable success of CTU. Other medal teams include the silver basketball and tennis teams and bronze table tennis team. A large share of the CTU success goes to the women´s futsal team which took the 4th place and also to men´s futsal players and women´s volleyball players who all got into the quarterfinals.
