The Entrepreneurship Week took place at various locations throughout the Czech Republic from 14 to 20 November, with CTU as its partner. The aim of the event, held in parallel in 160 countries worldwide, was mainly to address business and entrepreneurs, helping them in further development, motivate more people to do business and contribute to global economic growth.

Visitors could visit inspirational workshops and trade fairs. Within one of the fairs, the CTU business incubator, InQbay, has been presented. The services it offers are in the field of business activities for students, developers and researchers with an entrepreneurial spirit, ambition and determination to realize their dreams and innovative projects.

Following the summit, a festive competition of the best Czech startups called Get in the Ring also took place. This year, for the first time, the biggest competition of startups in the world was held in the Czech Republic. The MOB-Bars s.r.o.  startup which emerged from the incubator InQbay, represented the CTU at the contest as it had competed among the top 6 of the total 27 contestants. The startup focuses on the development, production and sale of mobile concrete barriers. These barriers are concieved of universal modular system with ballistic classification FB4 according to EN 1522, suitable for use by police and security forces in cities during demonstrations, riots and similiar. Just two persons are required to build the barrier system.
