The finals of the 7th annual student Robosoutěž competition were held on Friday, 18 December in the crowded Zengerovo auditorium of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering with a firefighting task for the robots. In a thrilling duel, the gold medal was won by student team of Lachslauchnudelauflauf formed by Jan Bouček, František Hurt and Václav Volhein of Prague´s Jan Kepler Grammar School.

Second place was taken by the COPS-1 team of Sezimovo Ústí College, formed by Martin Krásl, David Trejnar and Štěpán Kvapil. Jiří Štěpanovský, Martin Scheubrein and Martin Chmelař of Třebíč Grammar School occupied the bronze position. The best robot design award went to the Formation ´92, whose members were Jakub Moravec, Tomáš Navrátil and Tadeáš Pilař.

Various technical concepts of robot design, different strategies and an enthusiastic student devotion for the cause all contributed to the unique atmosphere that highlighted the whole event.
