Between 8-10 October, the XXVII edition of the Gaudeamus fair will take place in Bratislava. Czech Technical University in Prague will traditionally present itself at this fair, which is mainly aimed at secondary school students. The stand of the CTU will offer presentations of the following faculties: civil engineering, electrical engineering, nuclear and physical engineering, transportation, biomedical engineering, information technology, and also the Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies.

Stands of counselling institutions for higher education abroad will be open for students. At Czech Technical University in Prague, Slovak students can study under the same conditions as Czech students.

The aim of the fair is to provide Slovak secondary school students with comprehensive information, advice and maximum support in their key life decision, which is the right choice of university.

Undecided students will be assisted by the Testing Center and Counseling Service. Any student can take the electronic Learning Type Test and find out if they are an Economics, Humanities, Technical, Science, or Arts type. A team of counselors is available in the Counseling Service to help students select the appropriate school, college, or program of study based on the test results.

Teachers and guidance counsellors can use VIP passes to visit the fair. Registration is also recommended for all students, as they can get, for example, a discount on the entrance fee. For more information about registration and the whole fair visit https://sk.gaudeamus.cz/bratislava.
