The online education fair for high school students is coming up, where CTU in Prague will be presented again. The Czech Technical University in Prague is one of the largest and oldest technical universities in Europe, with over 19,000 students currently studying there. Three faculties, and of course the CTU Rectorate as the overarching and main communicator for the chat, will be available online at vysokeskoly.cz for those interested in studying in the future.

The online education fair vysokeskoly.cz will be held on 22 and 23 November. As usual, CTU in Prague will be ready to answer questions from high school students (or their relatives) about studying and other opportunities at this prestigious university.

This year, the Faculties of Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Information Technology will be directly represented. The PR department of the Rectorate of CTU will be answering questions fort the entire school in the online chat.

CTU has eight faculties - civil, mechanical, electrical, nuclear sciences and physical engineering, architecture, transportation sciences, biomedical engineering and information technology - and six institutes, of which the Bachelor's programme can be studied at the Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies. The university campus is in Prague's Dejvice district, where most of the faculties and institutes are located, and you will also find the CTU Central Library, study rooms, several canteens and some of the dormitories nearby. The largest dormitories for students are in Strahov, with a direct bus connection from the Dejvice campus. Some parts of the faculties are also located in the Old and New Town, Faculty of Biomedical Engineering is located in Kladno and Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering and the Faculty of Transportation Sciences have their branches in Děčín.

Approximately 19 000 students study at CTU every year. We educate technical experts, scientists and managers with knowledge of foreign languages who are dynamic, flexible and able to adapt quickly to market requirements. Our graduates have virtually no problem finding employment, with an employment rate of over 99%.

More than 500 study programmes in Czech and more than 350 in English are accredited at CTU in the academic year 2023/24.

All those interested can find accommodation in the dormitories, which have a total capacity of over seven thousand beds.

Each faculty holds its own Days of Open Doors, where you can get to know the study opportunities in person and ask about everything you are interested in. In addition, CTU is presented to the public at the Gaudeamus fairs in Prague, Brno and Bratislava and at the online fair vysokeskoly.cz.
