Faculty of Transportation Sciences of Czech Technical University in Prague celebrated 30 years since its foundation in the Bethlehem Chapel on Thursday, 2 November 2023. All the staff and other invited guests enjoyed a social evening, which was in the spirit of memories, friendly meetings and wishes for the future.

The programme of the evening was really busy. Dean of the Faculty, prof. Ing. Ondřej Přibyl, Ph.D., awarded the selected employees for their long-term and dedicated work for the faculty. The founding members and the current presidency of the eFDrive student club, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, also received awards.

There was also an accompanying cultural program that literally amazed all the participants. An incredible musical performance was presented by pianist Matyáš Novák, who has a very positive relationship with Faculty of Transportation Sciences and was awarded a standing ovation by those present. The Prague Cello Quartet took care of the second part of the evening and enchanted the audience with well-known melodies from the pens of famous composers.

It was a pleasure for us that Minister of Transport of the Czech Republic, Mgr. Martin Kupka, who in his speech emphasized his intention to closely link the cooperation of the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic with Faculty of Transportation Sciences of CTU in Prague and optimistically outlined its direction for the upcoming years.
