CIPA is a unique program involving multicultural teams of students from the Czech Technical University in Prague and students from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa. The event is held under the auspices of the Minister of Industry and Trade Ing. Jozef Sikela and the Minister for Science, Research and Innovation Mgr. Helena Langšádlová. The theme of this year's event is sustainability.

The CIPA programme was officially opened today at the CTU by the Rector of CTU doc. RNDr. Vojtěch Petráček, CSc. and Israeli Ambassador Anna Azari. The event will last two months, its main theme is "Sustainability" and includes an introductory workshop, a virtual acceleration phase and a final workshop connected with the presentation of the results of the work to companies. Teams are guided by highly qualified mentors throughout the programme. Two mentors, Beata Vörösová and Petr Kopeček, are experts from CzechInvest, other mentors are lawyer Jan Urban and successful manager Efi Ben Artzy from the Israeli side. All of them have extensive experience in mentoring in the field of startups and will be a great support and inspiration for the students.

CIPA's goal is to find collaborative solutions to the unique challenges of specific companies, with an emphasis on sustainability, acceleration and business support. During the Prague workshop, students and their mentors will visit the companies involved in the programme, which are Via FAOC s.r.o. and Resilient a.s. They will discuss in detail the individual challenges and mutual expectations. Thanks to their involvement in this unique program, they will also gain experience in entrepreneurship and solution development or in working with major companies moving in the field of innovation. They have the opportunity to receive personal recommendations from award-winning mentors and experts from each company.

The initial workshop will be held from 17 to 20 October in Prague, and the final workshop and presentation of the results will take place at the Israel Institute of Technology Technion in Haifa.
