This year's November Talks will focus on materials. With the subtitle "On Material", the Monday lectures will feature international architects. This year's edition will be opened on 4 November by Gilles Delalex.
"November Talks will explore the material as a fundamental element of building structures and its aesthetic, cultural and political significance. We will be interested in how materiality - what we build with - affects the sustainability of the construction industry. The aim is to offer a wide range of approaches to material and its use in architecture," says Miroslav Pazdera, curator of the lecture series.
