We would like to invite you to the lecture ‘Issues in Soldered Joints for Electronics’ by Associate Professor Ing. Karel Dušek, Ph.D. The lecture will take place on 11 January 2023 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering CTU in Prague – Dejvice. It is a part of the proceeding for appointment as Professor.

Karel Dušek researches soldering in electronics, soldering technology, materials and diagnostic methods. He is also head of the Department of Electrotechnology at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering CTU.

“The professor’s lecture deals with soldering and conductive bonding technology with a focus on errors and their diagnosis that can occur during soldering or during the lifetime of electrical equipment, “said Associate Professor Dušek. The lecturer also will present new findings in this area of basic research and point out their possible future use in practice.

“Numerous problems from industry that have been solved in the Department of Electrical Engineering for industrial partners will also be presented, including ways to find the root causes,” Dušek concluded.
