As a partner of the international alliance EuroTeQ, CTU offers to its students an opportunity to study virtually a selected set of electives at the leading technical universities in Europe. Application deadline is November 24.

Students can select elective courses offered by partner universities from the course catalog available here.

The offered courses are taught in English and for students involved in the EuroTeQ project are usually available online, e.g. by distance learning.

Each course in the catalog also includes information on the type of study for which the course is primarily intended.

Credit recognition for completed electives at partner universities depends on the respective study program. If the study program offers elective courses, students will apply for recognition of credits from a foreign university to the vice-dean for studies at the faculty at which they are studying. If the study program does not offer elective courses, credits for successfully completed courses from a foreign university will be added to students as additional credits for study. In both cases, successfully completed courses will be listed in the Diploma Supplement, including the name of the university where the student studied the course.

If the student fails to successfully complete the elective subject at the partner university and obtain the necessary credits, the student will not be penalized.

Please send your application to Ing. Andrea Vavřinová at andrea.vavrinova@cvut.cz, together with the following information:

• the chosen course from the catalog,

• personal number of the CTU student,

• the faculty and field you study at CTU,

• type of study - BA / MA / PhD.

If interested, students from the Faculty of Nuclear and Physical Engineering should contact the Vice-Dean for Studies prof. Dr. Ing. Michal Beneš at benes@fjfi.cvut.cz and provide him the same above mentioned information.
