Students, PhD students, their supervisors, aspirational scientists, or even entire scientific teams can apply to the twentieth year of the Werner von Siemens Prize until 27 November.
This year, the competition will offer seven categories to compete in for prizes worth more than one million crowns. The financial reward can also be obtained by recommending a graduate and his work under the "Recommend the winner and get 5,000 CZK" call. Again, the award is under the auspices of Pavel Bělobrádek, Deputy Prime Minister for Science, Research and Innovation, the Ministry of Education, the Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
