For the eleventh time, students from the POD-O-LEE dorm club will organize the Mezi Bloky music festival. The event, held under the auspices of the CTU Student Union, will take place at the Podolí student dormitory grounds on 17 May. The organizers are particularly promise a rich music program, introducing performers like the Cocotte Minute, Fast Food Orchestra as well as a guest from the Netherlands.
The event, whose motto is "Students for Students" is organized annually by students who spend their free time preparing it. The entrance is free of charge, and besides interesting musical program, it also offers unusual accompanying activities.
The eleventh edition of the festival will be launched by the Pardubice band Hlavou Dolu at 14.30, followed by the Donrvetr band arriving to Prague from the same city. The reggae band Pub Animals will not be missing, acting as forerunner of the more popular Cocotte Minute. The evening show will be dominated by the Fast Food Orchestra and dutch Playground Zero. The second stage of the festival will be hosted by DJs.
