On July 14, 2022, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic (MEYS) announced a long-awaited call focused on cutting-edge research as part of the Johannes Amos Comenius Programme (P JAC).
The allocation of the call is CZK 8 billion. As part of this call, projects of an interdisciplinary nature with a high potential for creating top-notch and future-applicable research results, research based on an excellent research team and the development of international cooperation between research institutions will be supported. The implementation of activities supported by the call will contribute to increasing the international involvement of Czech research institutions, to intensifying the production of top (and potentially applicable) research results and to the development of the competitiveness of the Czech Republic. The minimum project budget is 50 million CZK and the maximum amount is 500 million CZK. The duration of projects is 3 - 6 years.
