The Transfera.cz association announces a call for the submission of scientific research projects in a more advanced or final phase for the third year of Transfera Technology Day. Those interested in participating can apply until September 9, 2022.
The collection of projects that are in a more advanced or final stage of Proof of Concept and aimed at practical application will end on 9 September 2022. The call is intended for all members of the association (CTU is a member of the association) who are interested in developing the results of R&D in a real way, or evaluate them commercially, or find a suitable mentor for cooperation.
The goal of Transfera Technology Day is to connect Czech science and technology resources with the business community and to create suitable conditions for mutual cooperation. Thanks to the event, research organizations can offer their work to investment partners, who will evaluate their commercial potential and the readiness of the presented projects. The business community, on the other hand, will provide research organizations with valuable feedback and their requirements for technology readiness. The event offers possibilities for closer cooperation.
The event is organized by the Transfera.cz association with the support of the CzechInvest agency and other partners.
The final event will take place on November 30, 2022 in Prague.

The winner of the historically first year was the project of a unique device for cleaning liquids from the Brno University of Technology, in third place was the compact method of converting methane to methanol, which, thanks to Transfera Technology Day, got a much better chance of being applied in industry. Last year, tablets for cleaning contaminated water from the Palacký University in Olomouc or microemulsions for cleaning historical materials, developed by scientists from the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, won points.
