The President of the Council for Research, Development and Innovation announces a call for proposals for the award of the President of the Council for Research, Development and Innovation for 2022.
The President's Prize is awarded by the President of the Council for Research, Development and Innovation (hereinafter "the President of the Council") and may award it on a proposal or on her own initiative. The President's Prize cannot be awarded in memoriam.
A financial award of up to CZK 500,000 is awarded to a natural person for significant work in the field of research development, experimental development and innovation, including its promotion or popularization, or to a natural person who has significantly contributed to the promotion or popularization of research, experimental development and innovation by that it has published, passed on or otherwise popularly disseminated knowledge and expertise in the field of research, experimental development or innovation.
In selecting the candidate for the award, the President of the Council shall assess the number, scope and quality of publicisations and the number, scope and quality of written presentations, including popularisations in the media and various public lectures, taking into account the impact on the public, in particular: in terms of supporting long-term perspectives for research, experimental development and innovation.
Requirements for the candidate:
Nominations for the competition can be sent by natural and legal persons. The proposal for the award of the Prize of the President of the Council includes:
- name and surname of the candidate,
- birthdate,
- CV,
- a description of the candidate's lifelong achievements and responses at home and abroad (up to 5 pages).
The proposed candidate must meet all the conditions set out in the call.
Proposals must be submitted no later than 30 September 2022 in paper form or electronically to the address of the Research, Development and Innovation Council. The electronic submission can be delivered via a data box.
