The Technology Centre of the CAS, which is a member of the FIT-4-NMP project, offers a free service to projects funded under the 2nd pillar of the Horizon Europe programme or the EIC Pathfinder programmes within the newly opened call of the "Horizon Europe Hop-On Facility". This call allows the accession of one partner from the so-called "Widening of countries" (incl. the Czech Republic) to a consortium supported in the Pillar 2 calls or in the EIC Pathfinder Scheme of Pillar 3. At the same time, it must be a consortium in which no other partner from the Widening country is yet involved.

Horizon Europe's Hop-On Facility is open to all topics under the Pillar 2 and EIC Pathfinder and has two cut-off dates: 20 April 2022 and 10 November 2022. An additional budget of between EUR 200 000 and 500 000 can be requested for the inclusion of an additional partner, with up to 10 % allocated to the consortium coordinator.

The FIT-4-NMP project is a so-called Horizon Europe support action (Grant Agreement No 958255), which aims to increase the participation of talented newcomers from under-represented regions in Horizon Europe in the areas of advanced materials, manufacturing technologies, clean industry and circular economy (NMP).

The services offered include:

1. practical support in finding a partner from the Czech Republic dealing with advanced materials, production technologies, clean industry or circular economy;
2. practical assistance in providing information about the partner for Part A (e.g. administrative data, budget, etc.) and Part B (e.g. description of a new task, etc.) for the Hop-On application;
3. practical assistance in preparing a change of grant upon the accession of a new partner.
