Digital Europe calls for sectoral Test and Experiment Facilities (TEF) announced

On 22 February 2022, the European Commission opened four calls for proposals under the Digital Europe (DIGITAL) programme to fund sectoral Test and Experiment Facilities for Artificial Intelligence (TEF). These AI TEFs will be in the sectors of agriculture and food (€30 million), healthcare (€30 million), manufacturing (€30 million) as well as smart cities and communities (€20 million). The calls will be co-funded equally at EU and Member State level for a period of 4-5 years. The application period will run until 17 May 2022.
