The Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic has opened a call in security research 2023-2029 (OPSEC). The call is open from 20 April 2022 to 8 June 2022.
Candidates for support may be research organisations and enterprises. A project proposal can be submitted by one applicant or by several applicants in cooperation. The duration of the project is min. 24 months and max. 48 months. Aid may be granted for the eligible costs of the project recognised by the provider in accordance with the tender documents. The applicant is obliged to prove his/her eligibility to solve the proposed project pursuant to Section 18 of Act No. 130/2002 Coll. and, in accordance with the conditions of the programme, to deliver the project proposal within the competition period and in the manner specified in the tender documents.
The subject of the public tender is the selection of proposals for projects of applied research and experimental development supported by public funds of the Ministry of the Interior (hereinafter referred to as the "Provider") for the purpose of fulfilling the objectives of the Programme. It is not possible to submit project proposals having the character of basic research to this public tender.
In the OPSEC programme, one public tender is announced for all sub-programmes and for all types of projects.
- Sub-programme 1: Development of law enforcement capabilities
- Sub-programme 2: Crisis preparedness of security and rescue services
- Sub-programme 3: Resilient Society
Three types of projects are supported in the Program:
- Proof-of-concept
- Technological development (demonstrators)
- Methods, procedures, evaluation, social innovations (methods)
