Lucie Brešová participated in the growth of Kiwi.com from 10 to 2,000 people and to a billion-dollar turnover. She also worked in the C-suite of a company traded on Nasdaq. She now brings this experience to the university. She can sit down opposite the CEO and talk in his language about what the company needs, and accordingly set up cooperation in a way that is fast and understandable for companies. The goal is a pro-customer system that does not complicate cooperation with business, but expands it.
“Collaboration between research that is created at CTU and companies that can use it is already operating in many parts of the university today. The intention is not to interfere with or limit these partnerships, but rather to build on them, to connect today's individual bridges into a network and move it to a world-class level,” says Brešová.
She wants to place special emphasis on industrial cooperation aiming at research-interesting and demanding tasks that are not satisfactorily solved on the market. It is in these that the added value that CTU offers to companies lies, and the space where top research and business gain the maximum from each other.
