The program is being created in cooperation between individual faculties of CTU and institutes and is intended for children who have completed the 1st to 8th grades of primary school or the corresponding grades of multi-year grammar schools in June 2026.
University experiences for young students
Every day from July 13 to 17, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., participants will enjoy a varied program based on active learning about technology. Children will visit individual faculties and try out the university teaching method in a playful way in a motivating academic environment.
The program also includes sports activities that complement the technical focus and promote teamwork.
The goal of the Children's University is to encourage children's interest in technical fields and show them that technology can be not only useful but also fun. Thanks to the attractive teaching concept, participants will experience holiday days full of new experiences and inspiration.
Study programs: Junior Bachelor and Junior Engineer
Successful graduates will receive the title of "Junior Bachelor" or "Junior Engineer", which symbolically confirms their active participation and enthusiasm for technical fields.
The Children's University is held under the auspices of the Rector of the Czech Technical University in Prague, Prof. Michal Pěchouček, who has long supported healthy motivation and interest of the young generation in promising technical fields.
