On Thursday, June 11, the newly renovated Block 3 of the Strahov dormitories was officially opened. The first major event to be held there will be next week’s major sporting event, the 2026 Children and Youth Olympics.
Participants in the Olympics—elementary and high school students from across the country—will be housed in Block 3, and the CTU Facilities Management Department will also provide them with meals throughout the duration of the event. The Children and Youth Olympics has been held annually since 2003, but this is the first time it will take place in our capital city. CTU in Prague is the university partner for this year’s event.
