The ceremony in the Karolinum Great Hall brought the appointment of 93 new professors, who received their professorial decrees from President Petr Pavel in the presence of the Minister of Education Robert Plaga.

The Czech Technical University in Prague has nine leading experts among the newly appointed, strengthening scientific and pedagogical leadership across key technical fields.

The appointment of new professors confirms the strong professional base of CTU and its long-term contribution to the development of science, research and technical education in the Czech Republic.
