Yesterday, Vice-Rector Zbyněk Škvor (acting head of the university) once again handed out gifts to Ukrainian children, refugees from Putin's war, who are staying at the Strahov dormitories. He was joined by SÚZ Director Michal Vodička.
At the beginning of Putin's aggression against a sovereign state, there were over 300 refugees living in Strahov; this year there are 90, including 24 children. Employees of the CTU Rector's Office chipped in to buy gifts for them. As we do every year, let us hope and wish that the war will be over by next year...
