The symposium has long set itself the goal of being primarily a multidisciplinary platform not only for sharing new technologies, but also experiences with their practical use in everyday life. The international scope of the symposium is declared by the program itself, but especially by the keynote speakers, who this year will be Professor Abdulnasir Hossen from Sultan Qaboos University in Oman, Mr. Sebastian Heise, founder of Graphmasterts, specializing in traffic management using AI tools, as well as Dr. Světlana Hristová from South-West University in Bulgaria, and Ms. Poria Saikia, long-time director of the Department of Sustainable Transport Development of the City of New York, will also be present.
The symposium is supported by a number of leading companies, including PRE, ŠKODA Transportation Group, Prague Boats, Smart Plan, ITEGO, GlobData, the Association for Transport Telematics and professional partners, which are: National Center for Transport 4.0, CIIRC, CZECCAM, Czech Smart City Cluster, UTEP, iSMARTi and EPTS.
In addition to professional lectures focused primarily on practice, the symposium will also include an interactive workshop intended primarily for representatives of cities and regions on the topic of the future of autonomous mobility in cities.
The scientific committee, consisting of almost 30 members, headed by leading experts from the Faculty of Transport Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague, namely Professor Miroslav Svítek, Professor Ondřej Přibyl and Associate Professor Tomáš Horák, is responsible for the professional content of the symposium.
The symposium is held under the auspices of the Minister for Regional Development, Ms. Zuzana Mrázová, and the Mayor of the Capital City of Prague, Mr. Bohuslav Svoboda.
