Historian and researcher Adam Štěch (@okolo_architecture) is well-known both in the Czech Republic and internationally for his articles and curatorial projects, which he often undertakes under the Okolo banner as part of a team with Matěj Činčera and Jan Kloss. His great passion is uncovering the often-forgotten architectural gems of the 20th century. He strives to document not only the buildings themselves but also their interiors, which in the past were often created as custom-designed works.
For the exhibition, he selected thousands of his own photographs and presents them as an atlas of architectural and interior details created by architects and designers as part of their comprehensive architectural concepts. The collection is divided into sections such as lighting, seating furniture, storage spaces, railings, tables, doors, door handles, windows, and floors. It highlights the diversity, formal differences, and similarities of decorative and functional elements. By comparing related elements, one can analyze the contexts and transformations of architecture and design on a global scale. Approximately one-tenth of the collection features the work of figures who were active at the Czech Technical University (ČVUT).

Slavnostní zahájení proběhne ve středu 29.4. v 18:30, kdy si Adam Štěch připravil přednášku Za modernismem kolem světa. Komentovaná prohlídka výstavy proběhne 11. Května v 18:30.
