On June 24, Prague's Dejvice will once again belong to science, namely Science for the Future. Almost all scientific disciplines will be presented in more than 100 exhibitions in a fun and playful way. This year's 14th year of VědaFest will once again offer, in addition to stands, thematic lectures for schools and a science show on the festival stage. It is open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and admission is free.

At the fun open-air science festival, children and adults can try out what it's like to be a researcher, racer, firefighter, pilot, doctor, soldier or maybe an inventor, touch everything, try everything.

CTU will present all eight faculties, the Masaryk Institute and the Central Library. They will surprise with mathematical experiments: how to measure the number π by throwing matches? And how to comb a furry ball so that neither a vortex nor a path is created? You can also look forward to unique exhibits: a hydraulic model of a slalom track, a space rover, an electric formula, a railway simulator and a workshop that will show that architecture is both science and art. In the off-line zone, you can try out how to do without a mobile phone and the internet, how to look up information in a book or find your way with a paper map, and the rector's office has prepared a competitive bingo for you!

We look forward to your visit!
