You can look forward to demonstrations of technology, interactive stations and practical experiences that can be useful in everyday life. You will try the basics of first aid, learn how to react in crisis situations and get a glimpse into the work of those who protect our safety every day.
The Czech Army, the Czech Police, the Czech Fire Rescue Service, the Prague Municipal Police, the Czech Prison Service, the Czech Red Cross, the Medical Rescue Service and the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of the Czech Technical University will present their activities. The Institute of Chemical Technology will show modern portable analysers used, for example, in field measurements or cooperation with the police, and the Institute of Chemical Engineering will prepare an escape game focused on safety and teamwork.
The day will also include an accompanying programme in the form of lectures for children and adults and an exhibition of photographs from the book The Power of Fire, which will be complemented by a guided tour with the author Jakub Šejna.
