CTU and Avast have once again joined forces in the field of cyber security and artificial intelligence research. On November 4–5, 2021, you can look forward to the third edition of the successful CyberSec&AI Connected virtual conference, which will focus on the use of AI and machine learning in matters of security and privacy protection. As in previous years, the event will connect the international academic sphere with industry representatives and other experts. This year, the Private AI Collaborative Research Institute at the Technical University of Darmstadt also joined the organizers.

The program of CyberSec&AI Connected 2021 will be published on the website soon. In the past, the speakers list included scientists from prestigious institutions such as EPFL Switzerland, UC Berkeley, Stanford University, University of Oxford or King's College London, and experts from Microsoft, Cisco, ESET, etc. There were also researchers from our university – Michal Pěchouček, Viliam Lisý, Jan Bím and students from the Artificial Intelligence Center FEE CTU. In addition, Sebastián García and Branislav Bošanský from the same team are members of the program committee this year.

You can participate in the conference by presenting in the technical workshops session through the Call for Speakers. We encourage all authors from academia and industry to submit abstracts of their papers by July 31. This is a unique opportunity to present your research to an international audience and have a live Q&A with academics and experts in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

Tickets for the conference will be on sale from June for an early-bird price of 100 EUR. Academics have a discounted 50% entrance fee and students will receive tickets for 25 EUR.
