Visitors of all ages will be able to see the open air entertaining scientific laboratory on Vítezne náměstí in Dejvice, where the Science Festival is going to be held, on 7 September, from 8.30 to 17.30. The festival will present science and technology in an interactive and popular form. Interesting presentations and unusual experiments in various fields will be given on site.

Science Festival event builds on the scientific fair. The project is jointly organized by CTU and ICT Prague, as well as the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, the House Children and Youth Capital City of Prague, National Technical Library and the City of Prague 6. The main academic partner of the event is the Charles University which will present its faculties as well. For the  first time this year, the festival is ranked among the events taking place on campus Dejvice. Other exhibitors at this unique event include the Czech Agricultural University in Prague, Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague Institute of Criminology, Techmania Science Center, Unipetrol and many others.

This year's theme of the festival is fight against viruses. Interesting projections covering this topic will compose the accompanying program at the National Technical Library. The event is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, the Mayor of the City of Prague, the mayor of Prague 6, President of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and the rectors of the universities involved.
