At the same time, Sintija Meissner from United Founders and Czech Founders VC is also coming to CTU, focusing on developing the university’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Her goal is to motivate students to start companies, support the commercialization of research results, and create an environment conducive to the emergence of technology startups and spin-off companies with investor support. “After the first week at CTU, I already know that it will be a challenge, but it is worth taking on. Considering the team that Michal Pěchouček has assembled for the university, it seems like a truly urgent task – almost ‘now or never,’” Meissner wrote about her new role.
The two managers thus join other prominent names from the business and technology environment, such as Apiary founder Jakub Nešetřil, cryptocurrency specialist Ladislav Krištoufek, and Blindspot Solutions founder Ondřej Vaněk, who became the university’s head of AI.
