The Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU) and Cisco have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore new approaches to agent-based artificial intelligence. The collaboration combines global technological know-how with cutting-edge research in the development of advanced AI systems.

CTU and Cisco aim to jointly explore how agent-based AI can move towards true collective intelligence, enabling agents and humans to share context, build on their knowledge, and solve complex problems together. By combining academic research with practical expertise, this collaboration aims to lay the foundation for systems that not only work together but also truly think together, a significant step towards the next generation of artificial intelligence.

“I am pleased to continue our historic collaboration with this technology company. CTU has been a world leader in AI agents and agent computing for almost a quarter of a century, and collaboration with Cisco can therefore bring great results,” says CTU Rector Michal Pěchouček.
